Your parents respect your decision and say goodbye to you after a few
words of discussion. At this point, you are very confused and open
Instagram. You are shocked to find that so many of your Indian
classmates have decided to return to their home country immediately
after receiving the school email, and you rethink whether to return to
China or not.
After dinner, you are bored and open up the airline
ticketing app, and you realize that even if you want to go back to China
now, there is no chance. The tickets for direct flights are either
completely sold out or are speculated at sky-high prices, and you feel
panic. You browse through the airline ticket information on various
websites with great persistence and find that it is basically the same.
At this point, your belief that you want to return home is starting to
swell, as you are terrified of the unknown future of New York. To add to
your panic, you receive a new email from your school, and you find out
that someone in the school has been infected with Covid-19.
